The Force was strong at Central Library for Star Wars evening

Princess Leia, young Jedi’s, Darth Vadars, Stormtroopers – and even Ewoks were present at St Helens Central Library for a special Star Wars evening, to celebrate the release of the new film “The Force Awakens” next month.

Complete with Star Wars themed rooms, including Endor, verdant home to the Ewoks; Tatooine, Luke Skywalker’s desert homeworld and the Death Star, the Empire’s ultimate weapon – the evening was full of themed activities, such as quizzes, bingo and arts and crafts -while the children could even test their Jedi skills by guessing what was inside a box by touch and smell alone.

Are you a massive Star Wars fan but missed out on the fun in Central
Library? Fear not.
