Book of Condolence opens at town hall

The Mayor of St Helens, Councillor Steve Glover, will be among the first to
sign a book of condolence which has been opened in St Helens Town Hall, as a mark of respect following the atrocities in Paris.

In addition to this, the Union Jack flag will be at half mast on the Town
Hall.

St Helens Leader Barrie Grunewald said: “Many people would like to express their sympathy and show solidarity at this difficult time.

“We all send our deepest sympathies to the people of France, particularly
to the families of the victims affected by this atrocity.”

The Book of Condolence will be open for signing at the main reception in St Helens Town Hall between 9am and 5pm Monday to Friday.
